One of Europe's leading experts in artificial intelligence and a member of the advisory board of the European Digital Media Observatory, Claes De Vreese, discusses the risks that generative artificial intelligence poses to democratic societies and the spread of disinformation. De Vreese is a professor in the Artificial Intelligence and Society course at the University of Amsterdam.
